My Telephone

telephone-3

Here are five thoughts I had while watching Lady Gaga's latest short film music video 'Telephone' featuring Beyonce:

1. I must be intruding on some awesome exclusive lesbian dance party.
2. Lady Gaga would not make a good TV chef.
3. I've never seen Beyonce so nervous in my life.
4. I want soda cans in my hair as well.
5. "kinda busy... kinda busy."

My Take It All

Leave it to the Weinsteins to release a "music video" of their Oscar-nominated song "Take It All" from 'Nine' the day the nominations are announced. The best part of the disappointing musical, Marion Cotillard literally and figuratively bares it all in this gut-wrenching number. Sure, it has little to no chance topping Ryan Bingham's "Weary Kind" for the trophy next month, but hey... at least we are treated to a Cotillard performance.

My Peterio Awards (Part Seventeen: Best Music Video)

377855

Simple and Epic at the same time, Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). Like most of her songs, 'Singles Ladies' starts with an abundance of energy and never lets down. Combine that with the always better-dancing-than-not Ms. Knowles, a classic look and some very well crafted choreography, this memorable music video had me (and I'm sure others) practicing the same moves whenever no one is watching (and sometimes with). Hmm.... this blog just got a little too personal, didn't it?

Other Notable Nominees: Flashing Lights (Kanye West), Hot N Cold (Katy Perry), Keeps Getting Better (Christina Augilera & Lovers In Japan (Coldplay)
