The only thing I can think of that's missing from this trailer is a full-on musical number. Even without so, it's oh-so-true in so many ways and hilarious because of it. My favorite part being "Lead female's name!". So, can you think of any Best Picture winners that could literally just plug in dialogue from their film to this trailer?

Before my insanely long flight back from Hong Kong, I downloaded the premiere episode of the new HBO series, The Ricky Gervais Show, based on the podcasts Gervais does with his frequent collaborator Stephen Merchant and breakout star Karl Pilkington. It is entirely entertaining and hilarious that I was probably stared due to my attempt to suffocate my uncontrollable laughter. The monkey bit? OMG!

Sidenote: There's nothing that'll make you feel more pathetically single than sitting next to a couple during their honeymoon phase in business class during a 13-hour flight.

My Serbian Statues

Oh you crazy Serbs. In the past 4 years, Serbian government allowed the public to vote on which statues they should erect to symbolize the fight against ethnic violence, repelling bad luck and peace & tolerance. According to the results, the public decided Bruce Lee(!) should represent the fight against ethnic violence, fictional Rocky Balboa(!) to fight off the bad luck and Bob Marley(!) to symbolize peace and tolerance. There you have, there's a bronze statue of Bruce Lee hanging out somewhere in the town square of a Serbian town. While those three wouldn't be my personal choice for their respective honors, I'd say it's a bit of an amusing choice. I wonder how many people have already ran the Rocky steps next to the Serbian Rocky... (Bloomberg)

My 'Tuts My Barreh'

Over dinner tonight with a group of friends, we were sharing some more Youtube videos and this one tops it all. It apparently has been making the rounds getting more than 1 million hits, but this guy singing Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body" with the running English subtitles is plain hilarious. I was laughing so hard I almost coughed up the orange creamsicle flavored frozen yogurt. My favorite line? "I'm up on my beegees like a windy interview".

While on set yesterday, I noticed the proud achievements of the household's resident student. If only the same can be said about the teacher. Maybe she should take her own advice and study since "studying helps".

Logo, MTV's LGBT Network, has premiered Daddy, a short film about a pregnant gay man. It's a little funny if you think about it... and if you look at the -4:30 mark, you might find someone familiar who appears to be preggers as well. Thanks Sid for the great time and getting me to step outside of my "comfort zone".
