My Awful Facebook Fail

Screen-shot-2009-08-22-at-17

It doesn't get anymore embarrassing than letting your friends know about your sex life via Facebook. People's inability to use technology is always good for a laugh. FAIL.

My Restaurant City

Picture 1

Yes, I've been occupied with a Facebook application. Though I've never got into 'Scrabbulous' or 'Mafia War', the first 20 hours of 'Restaurant City' has been addictive to say the least. Part-'Sim City', part-'Rollercoaster Tycoon', this simple game has you building up your restaurant with updating menus, redecorating dining area and maintaining the kitchen staff. If you have as much free time as I do, I encourage you to go check it out.

My Bachelor Status Updates

jasonmesnick

I stumbled across 'The Bachelor' with Erica (ten states away) last night during the all important final rose ceremony. Yes, I was a little disturbed by how the guy proposed to a girl only to take that back because he wants to start dating the girl he dumped in the first place. Yes, I was a little disgusted how these people agreed to display all of this on national television. But most of all, I was a little surprised how popular this show was.

I'll admit it. During the 30 minutes I watched between his proposal and his 'unproposal', I was a little intrigued. No matter the reasoning for my intrigued (confusion, hatred, and the before mentioned disgust), the producers of the show and the ABC network managed to get me to watch for their elusive 18-35 male demographic.

But to see a mass amount (ELEVEN!) of Facebook status updates having to do with the finale of 'The Bachelor' is kind of amusing. Of course I responded to them.

My Friend's Earthquake

From my friend Will in LA:
"Honestly, I just felt the floor wobbling. I stood up, realized I was sitting in a room with glass walls, and waited (away from the walls of course) for a minute until it stopped. Then I joined all my coworkers outside, and started posting my exclamations to Twitter."
Oh Will, always one to downplay a 5.4 earthquake.... Makes that picture he took when he was at Museum of Natural History a little eerie.

My Scrabble Lawsuit

scrabulous_facebook

It was inevitable before Hasbro, the makers of 'Scrabble' sues Facebook for their quickie version known a 'Scrabulous'. I've always wondered if the two had a deal going... I guess not. So how soon before the Oregon Trail makers decide to lay one down on Facebook as well? (Yahoo)
