With both critical and box office response hailing it as if it’s the Second Coming of Christ, I thought I missed something during my first screening of The Dark Knight. But watching it again, other than the controlled direction in technical abilities and Heath Ledger’s iconic role, I still don’t understand how this B-movie got elevated to Oscar-caliber status.
