My Peterio Awards (Part Twenty-Two: Worst Screenplay)

First, kudos to bringing Karen Allen back. But the praise stops there in a hurry for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Why the tacky, unrelated opening? Why the absurd blind visionary tag-a-long? Why add on the uncharacteristic visual effects burdened actions? And above all things, why the monkeys?

Why the tacky unrelated opening? You could probably thank George Lucas for that little bit of influence. I agree with you for the most part here Pete. There are so many dead ends, missed opportunities and clunkers in this screenplay. I agree with you, and welcome back.
