I caught the updated version of Tennessee William's Cat On A Hot Tin Roof recently and much to my dismay, it was a major disappointment. At three hours, it was ridiculously long and found myself checking if enough time had passed from one intermission to the next. But the one revelation, if you can call her a revelation, is Phylicia Rashad- who was amazing and continues to live up to her Broadway icon status.
